Why Coconut Oil is the new OBGYN….

Alright, the title may be reaching a little bit but you have to admit coconut oil is amazing. We already know that coconut oil is pure magic and a gift from the universe.  A lot of us already use it for our skin and hair yet who knew the benefits it has for the yoni? It wasn’t until I was suffering from a horrible yeast infection and my siStar Deyanna Denyse told me to freeze some coconut oil and pop it up there for a few days till the symptoms went away.  I didn’t even think twice about it cause well its coconut oil. I immediately went home and poured the coconut oil into the ice tray to get it ready for freezing. While it was freezing curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to know what exactly is in coconut oil that will help relieve me of my symptoms. After this article you will love coconut oil even more (like who knew that was even possible)

What Makes Coconut Oil so Great?

Coconut oil has three active ingredients that make it useful for clearing up the yoni’s bacteria. They are Caprylic, Lauric, and Capric acid. Now I won’t get too sciency on you with the break-down of what each one does but maybe instead give you a good analog.  Caprylic and Lauric acid are like Wayne and Biggz (Shottas) they go in and start beating up all the bad bacteria in the yoni. They only go after the bad and leave the good alone. Then the Capric acid is like Mad Maxx…he goes in and done him (finishes the job for good). So once the bad cells are basically killed off the melting oil brings them out of the yoni and onto your organic feminine pad.

So these three acids help stop reproduction of bacteria as well as destroying the bacteria cells.  Now fair warning that all these bacterias has to come out…and yes it’s coming out of the yoni. Depending on the level of discomfort you have, that will help determine how often you insert a coco-cube (yes I made that word up). My personal regimen when feeling extreme discomfort (itching and smell) I use two cubes a day until the symptoms get better then I will do one a day. I will do one in the morning after a shower and another before bed after another shower. If you really want to spruce things up you can add some essential oils to the mix. Head over to my next post to see some of my personal favorite oils and why.

How I use Coconut Oil for my Yoni

Cococubes have become my go to for almost all my womb issues. They aren’t hard to make and the prep time is quick and easy. The three things you need will be coconut oil, an ice cube tray and a spoon, I personally used a 1/2 teaspoon for easy measurements . If you choose to use any herbs or essential oils you want to have those handy. You want to make sure that you have a sturdy ice cube tray for easy pop out. Did I ever mention that I have broken my fair share? Anyways here is how I make my coco-cubes.

How to Make CocoCubes for the Yoni 1. If using essential oils or herbs in your cococube you’ll want to put those in the ice tray before pouring the coconut oil. SN I am using oregano oil here and want to warn you that if you use this oil there will be a burning sensation that last for a min or two then goes away. As always speak with your holistic health provider prior to adding essential oils.

2. Once that is complete pour the melted coconut oil into each cube. I personally like to mix it around to ensure that the herbs are spread evenly.

 3. Pop them in the freezer. Give it a few hours and voila, you have on-demand cococubes available.
